On July 12 and 13, 2024, the Museum of the Palestinian People will be hosting a 2-day cultural event, Preserving Our Identity: Art as Resistance. Our 2-day event will introduce Palestinian culture to the broader DC community by showcasing Palestinian resilience amidst adversity through art, music, dance, literature, and food. Through this event, we hope to celebrate unity and foster connections while highlighting the richness of Palestinian heritage.
Featured activities include the traditional dabka dance, live artist demonstrations, poetry and music performances, and engaging educational experiences. The museum’s ongoing mission is to raise awareness, foster connections, and break down divisive barriers.
