Asian Poets & Writers in Solidarity with Gaza – Event

Asian Poets Writers in Solidarity with Gaza is a reading and fundraiser with authors, organizers, and community members of Los Angeles demanding a permanent ceasefire and end to genocide in Gaza. This event requires a ticket purchase of $20. All proceeds of this event will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians and a GoFundMe for a mother and her family as they seek shelter and try to evacuate Gaza to survive. Donations to more families can be made through Operation Olive Branch, a Grassroots movement collective to support & amplify aid requests of Palestinian families.

Co-Organized by Teresa Mei Chuc and Carolyn Huynh, the evening will include local organizations and vendors tabling with a variety of resources on the ongoing conflict in Palestine. The program in The Wanda Coleman Theater will feature Asian American authors coming together in support of Palestinian liberation.

Ticket purchase will be required at the door, or guests may provide proof of donation to Medical Aid for Palestinians, a direct GoFundMe, or any organization committed to providing humanitarian aid to Palestinian families seeking asylum or those affected by wars in the Middle East.

If you don’t have the means to donate but would like to attend the event, please send us an email to info@beyondbaroque.org.
