The Kuwaiti Hospital in Rafah caught fire as a result of Israeli shelling, as Israel continues its military assault across the Gaza Strip.
The strikes on the Kuwaiti Hospital come as the health ministry in Gaza called on the international community to provide power generators for the enclave to ensure Gaza’s hospitals remain working.
According to Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli airstrikes have killed 11 civilians in both northern and central Gaza.
The Kuwaiti Hospital’s director said the streets are filled with dozens of corpses of people killed by the Israeli army, with rescuers unable to reach the wounded.
Israel’s continued assault on Gaza comes as tit-for-tat clashes with Hezbollah on the Israel-Lebanon border increase, with rocket fire and drones continuing to fall into northern Israel.
Israel’s war on Gaza, in it’s ninth month, has killed at least 36,731 people, with a further 83,530 wounded.
